A slide instrumental I learned from a Gordon Smith recording (out op print cd called "Blues in the Bottle"). Im in open G tuning but a half step up. Low to high D#G#D#G#CD# Im playing a Stella guitar from the late twenties (the seemingly pearloid fretboard is plastic called MOT or Mother Of Toiletseat; this kind of plastic was very popular in the 20ies) FREE lesson with TAB available www.youtube.com You can download the tab at my website www.daddystovepipe.com click on the heading "free guitar tab" to view all the free tabs. Gordon Smith is a British blueslegend. Learn more about him here http

Mighty good slidin’!!
I wish I had at least one tenth of the talent you have. I want to play but just not able to take the time to learn. work work work is all I get to do. I enjoy listening to you and thank you for the videos. DT
I hear some Black Ace mixed in there a bit…
No, bakelite is a very different kind of plastic. If you google/wikipidia both you’ll see the differences
Great playing. Gordon would love this. I have played with him on the London blues scene, He is still a great player and singer – especially Lonnie Johnson style Doc
Is MOT the same as "bakelite" ? Does it smell ? Huh 😉
And thanks for introducing me to Gordon Smith!
Great stuff! I’ve found myself always waiting for that trademark Daddystovepipe grin at the end.
Cool! Great way to start my day.
