  1. omg i just made a 13 minute solo.. the best.. ill keep practicing on this.. though my fingers are now really damaged lol lml

  2. This song is in the key of A Minor. It’s made to solo over using the A minor pentatonic scale of something similar. If you have a heart to solo, start by memorizing the Am pentatonic positions on the neck. BY combining them you can start to flow in soling. You will take right off and surprise yourself! It’s fun. Be sure to start to memorize the notes on the neck too. It will help and it’s not that hard either. just spend 5 min a day a few times a day; start with the 6th string. Cheers !

  3. Hear hear! The same happened to me, playing one of the other tracks from CBG. I was looking at my left hand and thinking "is that ME?" 🙂

  4. wow, i just spent 13 minutes soloing. I’ve never done that before. Felt good

  5. The A chord is fretting the D, G & B strings (3rd through 5th string) on the second frets. A minor is fretting the 5th string on the first fret. It’s just a slightly different note than A.

  6. Everyone Solo’s differently. Standard blues players usually use the minor pentatonic over this stuff although notes from Aeolean fit nicely in the tune. (basically get your Am Penta and add a Bnote and an Fnote to it. A b5 sounds really cool (Eb) Just stick to that, and add incidentals where you like xD

  7. I suggest getting scale and chord book to build a strong foundation of musical knowledge and learn to read tabulature.

  8. A minor is the key of the song. Try playing scales starting on the 5th fret of the top string to the rhythm of the song.

  9. hey guys, I’m kind of new at guitar, and I wanted to know why is it called A minor?

  10. Thank you very much your opinion makes me happy. I did this theme-part with mixed feelings my emotions are a little bit confused. I am surprised that you did that strike. It did not take long time for me to come to this melody, because I think that i convert my feelings well in tunes :). ( sorry for mistakes ->Bad English)
    With friendly greetings

  11. You state a grand theme in the first 38 seconds of your playing. This is the song. Your improvisation should flesh out this theme. Tell us why you feel this way, how did these emotions come about and are you happy, angry or sad or all. But restate part of the the theme every 30 seconds or so to remind us of the story being told. The improvisation fills in with details, however finish witha climax that leaves us wanting more. Good playing, keep it up.

  12. I noticed that also the note F sounds good adding it on an a minor pentatonic scale! is it possible?

  13. thank you very much…yes youre right my sound is not clean i must change my settings thanks for the tip and ill try to make it better.

  14. you did a good thing, and you’re no beginner anymore, I can hear that, but I think your sound effect was not the best for this track and you speed up to much. JUST a clean sound with MUCH GAIN AND LESS speed, and you are rocking great !

  15. You’re absolutely right, I share your opinion. What do you think of my melody.
