  1. Unless you performed some kind of pull-off, i dont really think thats possible, as that means sliding to a fret that isn’t technically there.

  13. Oh that sounds like a great idea, I will get to work on it right away. Also, I will be doing a lesson soon showing how to practice all of your intervals on the guitar and that will involve practicing rolls as well. THANKS FOR THE REQUEST!! Carl… 🙂

  15. Thanks Carl!, Just got done watching your legato exercise video and picked up some more great stuff! I’ve been doing plain old chromatic runs for legato exercises without the extra fret spread, but I’m going to add that tonight! Not to mention I’m really going to focus on my hand like you showed to use those lower knuckles, great tip!

Honestly you have so much material that covers problems I won’t to work on, the only other thing I can think of is rolls. Nice fast fluid rolls. 😀

  19. Man I love the tips and mechanics you describe, this is 100{10faa3092bae83cdf963b1ab1025701434ba1e012413cb9c0c72be0a479389c3} better than just about every other online teacher I’ve seen.

As a student using online/books/videos/etc. and no personal teacher your lessons are invaluable. I’ve already made improvements on my pull-offs (and see ways I can improve my slides) in just 3 of your videos. Thanks!

  21. Yet another great lesson! For a total beginner these tutorial helps are crucial to build a good foundation. I know, speaking from experience all of the hammer downs and offs, slides and bends can become kind of complicated, but explaining how to use the wrist and the position of the hands makes things much easier. Another great video!! Wonderful stuff, five stars!!
