  3. Biepaadeg’s only been trying for months! I’ve been trying for years.Many thanks you’ve made an ageing plonker very happy!

  4. Let’s hope justice for Stephen Lawrence comes along much sooner than that!

  5. Great song. They finally got the last of the convictions in 2005, 41 years later.

  6. Coming up soon Raffa – half done but just delayed by a sickness bug (coming up frequently as they say!)

  7. I cant believe it – I’ve been stuck trying to learn this song for months, looking at useless covers on youtube and now you save the day – once again. You’re bloody hell teaching me an entire bob dylan repertoar. So grateful.

  8. Glad to help – back in 1965 I bought the music book "Another Side of Bob Dylan – Recorded Hits" by Witmark & Sons, New York. It cost 15 shillings then (the price of a decent mobile phone now) and it gave me the sheet music along with the chords Ab, Db and Eb to play in standard tuning. Ear defenders and a blindfold would have been more useful. Good luck with the song!

  9. Cheers, Jim. Got it and awaiting part ii. Thumbs and regards.

  10. Aha! And the students might miss you too…you’re very good at giving instruction. I will look forward to part 2 then. =}
    p.s. You can call me Ginger - doesn’t take as long to type…hehe

  11. Thank you very much Kristeneaux, and good luck with the song. Part 2 will be up soon.
    btw…. I didn’t miss my calling; I do miss the students; I don’t miss the policy-makers and the nonsense that went with it. Thanks for your endorsement!

  12. This was FANTASTIC!!! I can hardly wait now to give it a go. I could never figure out how the song got it’s sound…it never occurred to me about open tuning AND a capo! Thank you so much Jim!
    btw…if you’re not a teacher outside of YouTube, you missed your calling. You really covered everything so well.
