This is the simplest of little waltzes in Open G tuning on guitar. I named it the Inky Waltz after my Dad, whose name was Ingvald. He was an accordion, fiddle, guitar, and piano player. This would be a nice basic introduction to learning a melody in open tuning on guitar.

    I can’t say I know the Black Hawk Waltz. Do you have it posted on YouTube? I have another waltz on guitar posted to YouTube called Kentucky Blue Moon Waltz. That one is in Open G also, but has more variety and moderate complexity compared to this beginner’s tune.
