    I’m glad you noticed that. Yes I am planning to do lessons on jazz improv, trying to organize my thoughts around this.

    Yeah keep it up man. Bebop is cool, I only play a little of it for the occasional function band gig, but the principles are priceless.I heard some really nice outside notes in your playing. Have you considered posting lessons on Jazz and Bebop improvisation principles?

    thanks I will post more – I love bebop which is like shred in a way 🙂 and going outside with pentatonics is so awesome, there are so many things to explore!

    i’m using podxt with ‘jazz-neck’ patch using the ms-brit model, some reverb and mid-range eq. the guitar is on neck pickup. I also turn down the tone knob on the guitar to almost 0. Considering it’s a ‘metal’ guitar with EMG pickups it’s not too bad. I don’t have my jazz guitar or amp with me right now
