  2. No markers on the fretboard is simply a feature of that particular guitar. There are most likely fret markers on the side of the fretboard, visible to the player. I’ve not heard that hypothesis about instructors hiding fret markers from students.

  6. they dont use fret markers so beginners learn to automatically find frets by just feeling them or knowing their rough position. its a tough way, byt after it people can play complex songs with their eyes closed.

  7. Why do some teachers INSIST on using guitars WITHOUT fret markers!? Makes no sense to teach beginners without them.
