    Yeah those guys may be better but their videos don’t have hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube, even. The difference is Lang is legit and has a great career doing it. Don’t get me wrong; I know plenty of local and regional talent that’s probably better than this but the difference is he’s doing it and they’re not. That’s the reality. On my best day, my playing could probably hang with Jonny’s but there again, I’m not an artist like he is.

    seen Lang live 2 times, and Mayer 2 times live. Respect and love both of their music and their talents, was a lang fan for years before being a mayer fan, but I think mayer is a better overall musician and songwriter. His lyrics are more thought out, and his solos branch better as well into different modes and genres. I could listen to either for hours.

Their is always someone better than the last guy but without national recognition they have nothing but local celeb status..which might get them free coffee at the diner but that’s it. Lang is a beast and hit it at only 16. When u were 16 u were still sneaking porn and getting a weekly allowence.

    I love his studio work, mainly his producers, because this video is the same as when I saw him live….Totally over-rated!

    There are several guitarists here in Louisville that are better…

    Rick Valentine can smoke this kid, and he isn’t even the best around here. Rob From Far Out music is better than Lang will ever be.

    Maybe with 20 years practice he will be half as good as Gary Moore.
