    Honestly your description is SPOT ON. I mean that positively. Gaga is the new KISS. Kiss was all about the theatrics, and she delivers on that particular performance aspect. I’m 29 but have been listening to rocknroll all my life. For me there’s the Stones (Sticky Fingers, Some Girls, Let It Bleed) and then there’s everyone else. Tame Impala is the only band currently out there that has the potential to eclipse them in the long term. (checkout the song Elephant) She sang great.

    The song is one of the most vicious epic rocknroll songs of all time. She did not surprise me, or anyone else for that matter. She was Gaga. She sang beautifully, so no complaints musically. Her outfit/persona just do not fit the song at all. Honestly, checkout this version from Amsterdam 1995 here on youtube. Far more SOUL at the 2:30 mark if you don’t actually like the Stones…
