One of my favorite ZZ Top songs! My first car had a tape player and the only tape I had for it was a best of ZZ Top album. I played the tape over and over and over …and over again. It never got old! Thanks for the lesson!

Very good lesson. I’ve been wanting to incorporate some slide into my playing and this seemed like a great way to start.

Many, many older blues players played flat fingered, they were not shredding and also fingerpicked. More feel on the strings, so more feeling in the guitar. Not mind bending shredding useless scales.
