  1. Nice work. This is a good lesson for anyone at any level looking to incorporate some slide into their riffs. Thanks for posting.

  2. Hey N.L.G I have a cool lick request that could be a cool little lesson on repeating blues / rock licks!!! The lick’s from the Freddie King album Texas In My Blues off the track Messin With The Kid at around 1:30 it’s a real cool lick! Hope you guys at N.L.G take my request!!!^^

  3. One of my favorite ZZ Top songs! My first car had a tape player and the only tape I had for it was a best of ZZ Top album. I played the tape over and over and over …and over again. It never got old! Thanks for the lesson!

  4. Nice, the way you explain and the tab is a nice touch. 🙂

  5. Very good lesson. I’ve been wanting to incorporate some slide into my playing and this seemed like a great way to start.
Keep up the good work, I really enjoy these "inspired by" lessons.

  6. Many, many older blues players played flat fingered, they were not shredding and also fingerpicked. More feel on the strings, so more feeling in the guitar. Not mind bending shredding useless scales.

  7. I wasnt even going to watch as videos over 6 mon or so I cant sit through

    glad I watched

    thanks

  8. This guy’s playing on the flat part of the finger, rather than the tip. Clumsy and inefficient.

  9. Extremely Fantastic lesson using the slide! Thanks for putting this one up. Raggy

  10. Someone was at the front of the line for fingertips

  11. Your fingernale to finger tip size ratio freaks me out
