  1. Thank you for your comment. Jumanji? What year did that come out? LOL Happy New Year. Enjoy.

  2. Thank you for your question. I am not fully sure I understand your question. Are you asking what year is the guitar? The guitar is new and from Republic guitars. Enjoy.

  3. Thank you for your kind and encouraging words. If you really desire to play well, it is a simply matter of applying yourself over a long period of time. There are certainly guitarists in your area that can teach you the basic methods of fingerpicking in person. Working through my video CD lessons with them (if needed) and traveling to attend different guitar seminars will add more experience. Just think practically about what you want and avoid dreaming about it. Enjoy.

  4. I wish I could learn from you in person. Only if I had 1{10faa3092bae83cdf963b1ab1025701434ba1e012413cb9c0c72be0a479389c3} of your skills I’d be happy. Thank you for these amazing videos. Keni Lee a Living Legend!

  5. Thank you for your comment. I must admit it is rather difficult to stay on top of my game and maintain or improve my skills over time. (Getting older doesn’t help!) I don’t tour or play on a regular basis. I am constantly relearning songs as I vary my set list that I play while on the subway platforms of NYC. I guess if it was more like a 9 – 5 job I would be more consistent, but heck, I don’t want my music to turn into a laborious job anyway. LOL Enjoy.

  6. Thank you for your comment and interest in collaborating with me. Enjoy.

  7. HEY BROTHER ALL YOU NEED IS ME NEED ME ILL DOING THE SINGIN

  8. Thank you for your kind words. I am glad to hear you like my arrangement. Enjoy your practice.

  9. Your arrangement here is great. I play this in standard tuning but am probably going to learn your arrangement after hearing it. You are one of the best players I have listened to on YouTube. Keep those videos coming!

  10. Now this is a great representation of your artistic side,…good job

  11. Thank you for all your comments. As far as my arrangements goes, this one is certainly a little more complex than the majority. I basically worked on a simple framework of the song and then when I was confident, I added the fills and runs. It is important from a solid learning curve to proceed from easy to challenging. Play slow and steady focusing on good clean tones that are in pitch with a solid rhythm. Take your time. Enjoy the process.

  12. Awesome. Still can’t nail standard version thought. Maybe it’s my poor dexterity.

  13. Thank you for your comments and questions. To find my video, Youtube Search the title: Blind Willie Johnson Soul of a Man Hopefully this will give you some ideas for a CBG rendition. I hope to visit Europe someday. Especially England, the land of my ancestors. Please feel free to write if you have any questions my friend from across the pond. Enjoy your practice.

  14. hi ken outstanding playing, i have watched most of your youtube videos, all played with great feelings and panache, at the moment i’m learning soul of a man on a cigar box guitar ,have you had a go at this tune? do you ever get to play in england? thanks for the music. peace& love

  15. Thank you for your comment. Similar, but I believe the guitar on the album cover is a vintage National Style O. Enjoy.

  16. Thank you for your response. I have been fortunate to able to play a wide variety of resonator guitars and I can honestly say that Republic guitars are a good solid choice. National Resophonic guitar makes a superior instrument, but they start close to $2000. If you do decide to purchase, make sure you tell Frank, Keni Lee sent you. He will include a free copy of my instructional video CD 1. Also, write back when you get it. I am interested in your feedback too. Enjoy

  17. Yeah I’m just shopping around for a nice yet affordable one. I think I found one on their site that might just be the one for me… it’s been staring at me

  18. Thank you for your interest and question. Yes, it is from republicguitars. It is the Parlor model with full size neck (steel body – relic finish). They offer good quality resonator guitars at affordable prices. Please feel free to write if you have any further questions. Enjoy.
