  1. i just watched some minutes of your video but you seem to be quite sympathetic =)

  2. Bob your video’s on tuning are the best and most simple to follow on here ( in my opinion )so thank’s pal ,much appreciated

  3. Go Bob go ! You rock dude ! Keep it up ! Video is awesome thanks to the cat ! haha. 😀

  4. thats why i like the "amateurs videos" - not only on youtube 😉 – . very well explained thx

  5. yeah don’t worry about the "quitting" thing, that was more than two years ago…..but prolonged listening to "Hi I’m Bob from Toronto Canada" may cause brain trauma and cognitive impairment, lol!

  6. At 5:18 I turned round to one of my cats to see what was wrong. But they were snoring. Not sure what your talking about with the quitting thing, but dont!! For Gods sake. I not only learn songs but I compare stuff Ive already learned and you usually show it a "different" way. Especially as a 1 year guitarist who loves Zepp Ive learned tons from your vids. I like your delivery as well. Hi Im Bob from Toronto Canada is etched into me and my friends brains. Its a good thing 🙂

  7. THAT. (OR you can just play it in D tuning without tuning everything down; it’ll just be a key up from the original D flat)

  8. HEY just caught a video on Dtuning and you seemed discouraged or down. Dont give up on your students. We need you. Your doing a GREAT job. Love your work. Hang in there. Great lessons. Thanks!!!!!!!

  9. Marty Feldman looks like any 30 year old corpse….my dad for example. Been playing guitar for 40 years now and mostly in Open E, glad someone else likes the drones as well

  10. Jerry Cantrell (Alice In Chains) plays most or all of his songs tuned like that. A lot of guitarists have weird tuning… which is extremely frustrating when you want to play songs from different artists. You either have to stop and tune your guitar differently, or as the pros do it, have several guitars all tuned differently that you can just pick up and play when needed.

But yeah, it’s frustrating as hell.

  11. you’ve demystified the open d picking for me . Thank you.
Is there a lesson which precedes this one

  12. Oh wow im sorry for laughing but i never pictured your face to look anything like that love your lessons man keep playing the good music lol
