This song is in open E tuning..thats EBEG#BE..When I covered this song a couple years ago I played it in standard tuning but knew something didnt sound quite right – tried (just for the hell of it) to learn it in open E & almost right away the chords sounded better & more fitting ..

Good lesson. I will re-visit when I am ready for this song. I am learning ALL of ‘Dogs’ from the Pink Floyd album Animals right now. I am doing this in my studio… will be posting later, soon I hope.
