Preston is a great example of fueling good composition with demanding technique. Sometimes there’s too much repetitiveness for my personal taste, but that is all subjective anyways….Preston is awesome. He really opened my eyes to alternative ways to build composition.

I have seen Preston 3 times and have tickets for his concert later this year in Stirling, Scotland. I can’t get enough of his sound, he is amazing!

He deserves to be world famous with the technique he has and the tracks he writes/plays!

Honestly, if you’re commenting about how clean a slide should sound then you don’t know the first damn thing about slide guitar or what its all about. This is slide guitar man.

wow this guy is awesome. Just discovered him today. I listen to mostly electronic music, this reminds me of it in its most organic form for some reason. Puts out such intense emotion.

By the way, he pronounced it "Fran-zel", is Franzi prounounced that way or something? Or is it Franzl?

Techinque is somewhat irrelevant when a composition is as good this. And in fact I’ve seen him play this a few times and he can play way cleaner so don’t shoot a good artist down based on one video.
