this is the single most ignorant comment I have read this year. Shame on you for acquiring tastes from tv shows.

A damn good singer, infact I’d say he invented The blues as we know it today now about his story about him making a deal with satan I don’t know. You won’t be forgotten Robert.

your a dumb twat the recordings almost 100 years old, in your life you will never accomplish anything to be considered nearly as inovitive. And dont I see how being board and starting to play seperates from almost all musicians.

I can’t help laughing… I can’t believe 0people idolize him. His recordings are not even close to being considered "music" In my opinion. He sounds like a very bored guy who just started playing…

Check Rosetta West – Nightmare Blues. Good raw, and slightly creepy blues.

It can never be proved, but there are few other explanations for his amazingly fast transition from being laughed at by other blues musicians of his time, to becoming, literally, the best guitar player of that time and developing a backwood’s blue rhythm and fragmented melodies that few could come close to matching, let alone to the extent that he took it.
