Robert Johnson "They are Red Hot" I would like to say that I really respect and love Robert Johnson and the People of Africa. I made this video just because I thought that these people move in the rhytm that fit so well with his music and that maybe by going back to Africa we can understand where from he got his RHYTM. I was my self actually horrified when I saw the whole documentary movie from which this part is taken …I am very sorry If some people think that the lyrics of this song mingled with this video seem inappropriate.I think your opinions are justified. I actually did not axactly know what Mr Johnson was singing about, I was just entranced with the rhytm of this song. But I still believe that we can go beyond the literal meaning of this song and just imagine that we are these people who just love to sing and dance, who just love to dance to any song that represent reality. But again I am sorry if I hurt anybody.

  1. Thanks to the Red Hot Chili Peppers for bring me here. This song has a swing feel to it. Sounds like something from the 1930’s!

  2. Done more as a bar drinking song with a ragtime beat instead of the Delta Blues common to the rest of Robert Johnson’s music. Generally songs were learned on the fly with artists copying each others music. Delta Blues really should have no authors since everyone stole from each other playing Delta Blues. This song had a disc cut for playing in the 30s. The Delta Blues artists did not get commercial recognition until after WWII, though playing fir decades for the bread in the cup.

  5. That video was shot in hollywood and those people are actors just like u see in the old wisemiller tarzan flicks. In that regard I believe it to be discracefull to true African culture. White america has the wrong idea about the culture cause of old raciest movies like this!

  6. Oh yes this is the right one as, they are all lining up for red hots

  7. Absolutely love the song. Not entirely convinced that the video isthe right choice to go with the song, although the video itself is interesting to watch on its own.

  8. I don’t like racists like you. You are scared somebody finds out. But this is perfectly normal. It’s like displaying Chinese on an rice field.

  9. dude im not tryin to start an argue ment but think about it like this u kinda u sound like the racist one here….. in your mind this is racist because you find it weird and unnormal, but in all actually these are africans having a good time , and basically displaying the culture… …although these pple may not be dancing roberts song, it is still a good mixture of video and music .. and by the way roberts of african decent so.. how can this be racist? kuzz theyre nuude?

  10. im here cuz of loaded. but i freakin love this song too.
