On Money Road just outside of Glendora Mississippi is the official grave site blues legend Robert Johnson. This video is part of a documentary called Blues and Abstract Truths by photographer, filmmaker Ed Silvera in association with Mississippi Valley State University, Delta Research and Cultural Institute.

Mr.Hoover nice man that’s keeping Black History alive he have a store and musuem & Tours in (Baptist town)Greenwood Ms.I attended Robert Johnson 100th Birthday celebration in May on Mother’s Day 2011.My Great Aunt stayed on the same street Young St were robert Johnson died.Filmmakers was there @ the celebration.I’m from Louisiana.
My mom is convinced that our family is somehow related to Robert Johnson.

I was at this spot in 1988, before the tombstone was placed there. Some locals pointed it out to me. I’ve been a fan of Johnson’s music for decades and over the years I met several people who knew him, saw the other alleged gravesites and I think this one is the most likely to be the true one.
