Classic Stephen Stills song. Special thanks to Stevetr for his excellent explanation of Modal tuning (E,E,E,E,B,E). I tuned to Modal Eb (12 step down) for my raw, lower voice. Thanks for listening.

  1. This was really well done. Thanks. Any chance you have tab for the solo bit going into chestnut brown cannary?

  2. You’re amazing! I think i must be the only 16 year old girl who loves CSN! You’ve done them proud 🙂

  3. Again.. nice work, my friend… always enjoy your music…

  4. Great effort, the raga-like single note solo especially. extra points for tackling the spanish language lyrics at the end

  5. Very good. That’s a hard song to do solo like that Very good.

  6. GREAT job covering a song which was written to use 3 guitars- and your vocals are by far better than any of the covers of the same tune on Youtube. If you could sell talent, you would be a very rich man. And STILL be able to do what you do!!

  7. I can’t believe how much I dig that. Reminds me of my dad.

  8. you should be sorry for singing….please stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Fantastic job! This is way better than DADDAD tuning. I loved it!

  10. modal? which mode? Dorian, Mixolodian etc. I don’t see it. open tuning yes

  11. Great guitar work, of course matching the harmonics in the vocals is big task. That’s why it lacks in the EEEEBE tuning. The vocals fill the musical gaps but it was written in the EEEBE tuning. I know it both ways though I had to invent some chords for the DADDAD style. Thanks for posting this rendition..
