I have several clips showing this guitar in open tunings, here its standard tuning(E).. Theres many out there interested in the models from Republic Guitars. So just for fun, heres a short "simple sound sample" of the model "Miniolian" the wood bodied parlor sized reso-guitar.. It has a GREAT sound, only slightly less bass and volume than its bigger bodied brothers in the reso-family, but the sustain is amazing and the neck and body size is very, very nice!!!! Strings: 0.10 Ph.Bronze, and the action is low..

  1. Love this guitar !! I am about to order a resonator guitar and cant make up my which one to get . This or a Resolian.

  2. I just canceled my order for a Regal RC 1 and ordered a Miniolian from Republic after seeing your videos and talking to Keni Lee Burgess. Thanks for the inspiration.

  3. Thanks a lot! It sure is a cool sounding little guitar!!!

  4. I didn’t know standard tuning could sound like this. Neither a guitar with that size.

    I’m absolutely stared. Well done.

  5. Thanks!!

The Resolian has a fatter tone that I like, but the Miniolian is cool also..

  6. Great gtr and playing.
Can I ask why you’d recommend the Reso over the Mino as a beginner/first resonator gtr? thx

  7. THANKS!!
These are very comfortable to play, both models are. I’d go for the Resolian!!! With a medium action set-up you can play both slide and fret with ease..!!

    Thanks for watching!!

  8. That was great. Which one would you recommend for a resonator guitar beginer (between the resolian and the miniolian) . The miniolian seems more versatile to me (at least in regular tuning) Are those guitars confortable to play? Thanks for posting and sharing your music with us.

  9. Good choice!!
I’m sure it’ll work out well for you, congrats!!

  10. I just brought one of these ladies home this evening. I hope I can make her sound as sweet as you make yours.

  11. It’s super in standard tuning!!!
I keep it like this nowadays..

  12. I have one and use it at every gig. I just love it.
I get a lot of compliments on it too.
