From www.youtube.com MetalGuruMessiahs Musical Paint Box! Check out my other videos! "Dance (Pt. 1)" was released on The Rolling Stoness 15th studio album, Emotional Rescue, in the summer of 1980. "If I Was A Dancer (Dance Pt. 2)" is a longer and different mix and containing different lyrics from "Dance (Pt. 1)" which was released in the spring of 1981 on the really fine 4th Rolling Stones album, Sucking In The Seventies. Ive My absolute favorite Rolling Stones albums are those that make up the 4 album stretch (of which Emotional Rescue was the third) that began with Black and Blue in 1976 and ended with Tattoo You in 1981. Certainly they made greater albums than some of these (Some Girls I believe can be argued to be among their greatest ever) but I guess its not a coincidence that these were the albums which were released when I was in high school and was really into The Rolling Stones….plus of course, the memories surrounding them are the strongest. From Wiki: Recorded throughout 1979, first in Nassau, Bahamas (Compass Point), then Paris (Pathe Marconi), with some end-of-year overdubbing in New York City, Emotional Rescue was the first Rolling Stones album recorded following Keith Richards exoneration from a Toronto drugs charge that could have landed him in jail for years. Fresh from the revitalization of Some Girls, Richards and Mick Jagger led the Stones through dozens of new songs, some of which were held over for Tattoo You, picking only ten for Emotional <b>…<b>

and just to add that back in 1980 there were at least three guys who were very fond of "Emotional Rescue": you, Trev and me:))
THANK YOU FOR DANCE!! It’s gonna be my feature for a long long long time.

  7. like your comments about MJ ‘s tongue :-))) i was scared by the size of his mouth :-))

  8. beware of google translation they make a lot of mistakes ;-)) when i say "tu ferais un tabac avec cette vidéo en boite de nuit" it means you’ll have a hudge success with this vid in nightclub 🙂

  9. Well, Trev…I can honestly say that at least one other person really loved "Emotional Rescue" when it was released as well! But yeah, I can relate to your comment, anyone doubting that attitudes have changed for the record need only compare the original Rolling Stone review at release to the later review from 2004. I can think of many other albums that I loved when they were released, but which were not acclaimed or popular and it took many years for people to grow into them. Great comment!

  10. I agree my friend, although I’m also a huge fan of The Rolling Stones (of course, like you, they can’t touch The Beatles…no other act can) I can understand how Mick’s tongue could give you nightmares! LOL! 😉 It makes me very happy to know you found some love for this really great tune through my video! Wishing you a great one as well, Ludo!

  11. Yes…I understood your comment, Isa (of course I can thank Google translate for that! LOL!)….and I really did appreciate the wonderful and generous words for my videos. My very favorite comments are those where someone says the video helped them like the song more….as if they somehow heard the song the first time because of the video?!

    Thanks so much my friend!

  12. Yes, my friend! Back to the late 70’s once again! Remember those great times at the Discotheques!?
