    Three months earlier on June 12th it entered Billboard’s Hot Top 100 chart; and on July 10th it peaked at #1 {for 4 weeks} and spent 14 weeks on the Top 100…
    And on September 9th it reached #1 {for 2 weeks} on the United Kingdom’s Singles chart

    Haw haw, I loved it! Jagger and Richards, consummate professionals and good lip-synchers; Charlie looks bored, Bill looks … invisible, and Brian doesn’t bother to pretend to play, here and there. I was a Beatles fan in the 60’s, but by ’69 I was more Stones.
