  2. You got me started with slideplaying, using both acustic and elektric guitar and in standard and open g, love it !

  4. really helpful! Probably the easiest way to add depth and dimension to our playing

  5. Thank You Sir! Guitar was a demon to me, I am dyslexic and wanted to play well, really bad. I almost stopped playing before I tried it, but once i did I was like a duck to water, love Slide guitar in all forms!

  6. Its not a beginners slide lesson man… If you already have the basics down… then just listen and watch where his slide goes and what strings he is playing on… .then figure it out. Its just playing guitar all it takes is a good frame of mind and time!

  8. The title says "TIPS" not slide for complete beginners. Tips are usually for the people that can already play, So learn how to read first and process that before you whine about your level of interpretation. God i loathe you.

  11. Which part of "tips and scales" didn’t you understand? He’s teaching techniques. And it’s quite useful to me.

  12. I thought this was a great lesson – I’ve been playing slide in G for years and I still got some good inspiration and ideas from it. Thanks very much. Check "Rosetta West – Underground" if you can for some of my open G slide – it’s raw, and maybe even crude…but effective, I hope.

  13. good feel for the blues + good sensitivity to learners = ace teacher.
