  1. Got some Death Letter Blues going on there 😛

    Great Video!!!

  2. Very clear instruction and nice & slowly done! (If you can’t do it slow,…. you can’t do it!

  3. With the slide on your pinky, you can play minor, Dim 7th chords etc… "BEHIND" the slide. I thought that I made that up, but apparently some dude named Sonny Landreth has been doing it for years.

  4. I wear the slide on my middle finger too. It allows for more control while still allowing a decent span with the index and ring fingers. Everyone needs to find what works best for them, of course. Great tone here. If you can, check "Rosetta West – Underground" for some good slide guitar blues.

  5. Try the ring finger… If you use a Csus4 chord on open G sliding between 12th, 5th and 3rd, using a basic up-down strumming rythm you get a pretty good sound.

  6. It’s a good lesson. Explained well and played the same. Just bought a reso so it helped a lot.

  7. thanks man,
i didn’t think so many people would be diggin’ it,
guess it’s time to post a few more

  8. When you go to the 4th chord, I noticed you use the slide on your middle finger. I play with mine on my pinky – which makes playing that your way pretty impossible (for me at least). – Any suggestions?

  9. I’m likin the lesson stuff, always can learn! Added to my fav’s also.
