  1. Ok so Ry Cooder, Elmore James, Eric Clapton and many more ( including me ) have been wasting time for years. Thanks for letting me know. I will recommend your lessons to people who wants to play like their teacher and not like themselves

  2. The very best tuning is standard tuning. Open tunings are pretty much a waste of time unless you are a dobro or lap steel player. So, no matter what you’ve heard from anybody (famous or not), open tunings are not really a useful thing. You can get 99{10faa3092bae83cdf963b1ab1025701434ba1e012413cb9c0c72be0a479389c3} of the open tuning licks from standard tuning if you know how to do it. I have lesson videos that make tuning your guitar differently obsolete. Find me at groovymusiclessons dot c o m and I’ll take that nasty stuff out of your head.

  3. Thank you very much. This is the Washburn PS11. It has a SUPER preamp in it and plugged in, sounds every bit as wonderful as my Martin costing 10X as much. I love this axe.

  4. Was just wondering about open tuning. If my song Is in the key of G, which open tuning should I use to get a bluesy slide solo? Not sure which tuning is best. I’m thinking open E, but maybe I’m wrong. Could you help please?

  5. I would wish "ta" back…….but, I don’t have a clue what it would mean.

  6. @Heahmount Thank you very much. In the beginning licks, I play with my right hand (with the pick) only one time and then the fingers of the left hand are actually plucking downward in order to make the next note sound. So, once with the pick, then the next 2 notes you hear on the same string are both plucked with the fingers of the left hand on the neck.

  7. My bad. lol I see now. I just had that strap out a few days ago too and was laughing about the red hot chili peppers on it. lol DUH. I’m sorry my friend.

  8. I mean your guitar belt is with red hot chili peppers 😀 (my english grammar is bad)

  9. No, not true as I wouldn’t listen to that guy. But thanks for playing, you don’t even get a lousy copy of our home game.

  10. your so called "cool lick" is stolen from the beginning of Zakk Wyldes – Dead as yesterday

  11. Thanks very much my friend. A good plug from a great customer is always a most welcome thing. I always try to give people way more than they pay for. Money is hard to come by these days and guitar lessons (especially at music stores) are usually costing 10 times more than they are worth. I try to give 10 times more than you pay….the way it should be, plus, you get to keep them forever for brushing up when you need to. Thanks again!

  12. Scott’s vids are the best. They are inexpensive, and packed with good stuff… I’ve bought some and will buy more… it takes a while to get through them because he really packs them.

  13. Wow!!! Thanks very much!! Your tutorials are EXACTLY what I was looking for!! THUMBS UP IF YOU AGREE!
