  1. Beside backing off the tremolo tension springs a little bear in mind that SRV played tuned down a 1/2 step so that will help a a scouch also.

  2. Can anyone offer some tips on how to set up a strat, so that there is less string tension? I have set up my strat multiple times and every time the string tension makes it almost impossible to bend notes.

  3. dude, I got chills listening to that. thanks so much, that was awesome.

  4. True that but don’t forget, the amp is important too,but not as much as guitar and pickups.

  5. whats that for a telecaster? the head looks like from a stratocaster.. never saw such a head on a tele

  6. Dude, For you to be able to play like this AND explain it to is is FANTASTIC!
    Thank You SO MUCH !

  7. I used the Avid Eleven Rack for the courses. I typically use a Dr. Z Stangray and an array of pedals live.

  8. Didn’t SRV play a half step down tuning most of the time.

  9. If I remember correctly, I used a Soldano amp sim and the Green Overdrive that simulates an Ibanez Tube Screamer.

  10. Wow! Great job mr. Corey! You used the AVID Eleven Rack to record this one. What amp did you use? Please tell us the settings to get this incredible tone…

  11. Singles for sure…low output. Fralin, Lollar, Duncan, Arcane…all good choices.
