  1. Goes to show that any age can have the blues!! Awesome!! Joey Vaughan "World Blues Attack"

  3. he looks like a little John Lennon with a fender strat…

  4. this kid is amazing put i hope he goes outside blues more cause im more of a rock guy

  5. Buddy Guy has been called the bridge between the blues and rock and roll. He is one of the historic links between Chicago electric blues pioneers Muddy Waters and Howlin’ Wolf and popular musicians like Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page as well as later revivalists like Stevie Ray Vaughan. Vaughan stated that, "Without Buddy Guy, there would be no Stevie Ray Vaughan."

  6. Buddy Guy is just so wonderful with this kid… Both of them are Simply Amazing.

  7. this lil man’s mum shud have listen jazz during her 9 months of pregnancy thats just feckin unbealivable ,at this point it is more than skillz………that is God’s gifts!

  8. lol…i don’t think he BEAT buddy guy. there was no competition…buddy just let him rip that guitar.

  9. i never befo’ seen such skills come from a young boy like that, it’s hard to beat ol’ buddy guy
but this kid.. well. he did it, the boy did it
it’s one of the best blues i’ve heard in a while!
    boy.. you play now

  10. Saw him BB KING and Buddy at the Beacon. kid is 9 now and BETTER!! It’s hard not to be jealous but the degree of jealousy is minor. I think what people want to think is you need a lifetime of trouble to play the blues. Also, we are at so many kid things, we want Adult swim time.

  11. Man I never tire of music from the soul…thanks for the smiles and the joy :]

  12. thats awesome….he went down to the crossroads

  13. Oh. They go to music school or smth like that. Then play in orchestra? I dont know. But not everybody want to play in band.

  14. Great! I always wonder what happens to these kids. You never hear from them again…

  15. Lucky SOB, playing with Buddy Guy…..the kid shreds man

  16. Sorry, meant that as a reply to rokrol. I saw him in Boston yesterday — certainly heard no one calling for him to get off the stage; instead, while BB King’s people were setting up, everyone was trying to figure out who he was. Great show. Great performance. And the kid’s more than a technician, which counts for a lot.

  17. Amen. And this video’s a couple years old — he’s gotten -really- good now. One to watch.

Just, for the love of God, you don’t want to play his one track on his MySpace page — awful vocals. Dunno if they’re his. But the kid can play.
