    I’m afraid to tune my high E string to F (maybe that’s silly) so I just tune it to CFCFAC.

    Open F is FACFCf. So from standard, Low E goes up to F. A stays the same. D goes down to C. G goes down to F. B goes up to C. and High e goes up to F. and now to confuse you more tune everything down a whole note and that’s what I tuned my guitar to for this song.

    excellent man, great melodies and a nice effect with the echo.
    im trying to do stuff like this but im still not quite there yet..i use Eric Mongrain AirTap tuning (F),
    i have some vids if u wanna look, my long vid is the best i think, the first 3.50 is a song i wrote the rest is just chord jamming.

    Open F is F A C F C f, and tuned down a step is E G# B E B e that’s what I played this song in.

    it’s a very nice composition, melodically beautiful. check out some of the stuff on my profile, I’m just now starting to experiment with open F, but I’ve got a piece in Open C, as well as some other compositions in standard
