  1. Whoops, it’s actually a T-25. Still great, though!

  2. yeah noises can be absolutely horrible

  3. I would go for something a lot different than that model. I’m not really fond of the double cutaway and especially not liking the F holes. I’ll find one for sure though.

  4. The Lollar Blondes! If you have not tried them, you are in for a REAL treat. Now these are going to sound like a REAL STRAT PICKUP. If that is the sound you want, this is the pickup for sure, all 3 positions.

  5. Yeah, I fired it up real good on the video I did before this. watch?v=3CARbhgMpas Check it out, it sounds awesome.

  6. Very nice! I’m going to try your tuning and see what comes out. I’m all for trying different things and it will be especially fun on this axe.

  7. I hear you. The Peavey axes are just amazing from top to bottom, sound feel and total quality. Everybody should own at least one. They are a great guitar to compare everything else to. I always try to compare everything to a Stratocaster since everybody has played a Strat, but in a perfect world, I would play everything against a low priced Peavey like this and show folk that there are very few guitars (at any price) that can stand up against one.

  8. You got it my friend! I’m looking forward to that too!

  9. OH, I remember that one. I will gladly do that. This video was done especially for Anderson Guitars. He builds the guitars, sends them to me, I go through them with a fine tooth comb and do a review of them for him. I then return the guitars to him and he uses the reviews that I post in order to sell his guitars. Then, like in this case, if there is a guitar that I REALLY must have and he doesn’t owe it to somebody, then I will ask to buy it instead of sending it back, if he doesn need it.

  10. Oh just you noodling on an acoustic like the last vid where you used the takamine V

  11. Looking forward to some slide blues soon!

  12. Yep! Sounds great, too. Thank god for pawn shops. Eventually I hope to get a video up of it and the empress tele. Not enough people appreciate how great those Peaveys are!

  13. Very cool guitar!Love the looks of it.I often plays in G-tuning and for variation i detune the B-string a halfstep for Gm-tuning.

  14. Now that is a great deal! Have you got to fire that puppy up yet?

  15. The other HUGE thing is that it would be as noisy as all hell. There were no such thing as any reverse wound pickups back then, so it would just be all kinds of noisy. I just hate noisy guitars. That’s why I won’t own any Fender guitars before 1976.

  16. I’m not sure what it is that you are after my friend. Please explain it to me.

  17. hey scott i have a question, i have a custom guitar in mind with all the bells and whistle ive thought of everything i could want, but my only thing is. I would like to try a different neck pickup one thats really rich and warm just the most beautiful tone you could hear what would you recommend for a sweet rich single coil neck pickup? im thinking of the emerald lace sensor, or what im thinking it would be cool to have the purple in the neck position, im just wondering what you would recommend

  18. Can you please recommend a 7 string single coil pickup! I have a 3 single coil routed, 7 string and the stock pickups sucks and i cant find a good pickup to save my life! Please help me.

  19. Haha, I just picked up a $200 Peavey. I’m a proud owner of an 80s, U.S. made T-27.

  20. u should chek this beautiful Pasaye Bajo Quinto :’) /watch?v=jCbH8dyXZsA

  21. aww thats to bad, its a terrific instrument

  22. All these shout outs were cool and the g_daddy is awesome but an acoustic improv like the one you did with the flying taki V would be greatly appreciated and enjoyed.

  23. Leno was great. Leave it to the sound and lighting folks to mess it up. lol It seems that the spotlight and the ONE MICROPHONE wouldn’t be hard to screw up, but that’s what production people do. lol Jay himself did a wonderful job though and we had a great time. Thanks for asking!

  24. Thank my friend! Yeah, he does some amazing work. You won’t be sorry for sure.
