  1. It worked very well. It had a very heavy tone haha i later traded it for a 71 ampeg v4 (2×15 altecs) in awesome shape. Still have that old dinosaur haha

  2. Ahhh, true, you don’t want to mess with it at all. The MIM axes are great. Especially for modding. You aren’t out any money. You can buy them used for chump change (Especially on Craig’s List) come rent time for the crack heads. lol You’ll end up spending more for the mods than the axe. lol

  3. Yeah, you gotta watch out buddy, I’ll slip a new video in on you when you least expect it. lol

  4. WOE my man. I didnt no u put this 1 on here. Man. This cold must b getting the best of me. I got another humidifier cum 2 fynd out the other 1 tank was cracked so. It sounds great. i think 2moro im gonna work sum more on that slyd video lesson. Its not really hard at all so. Thanks so much brother man & keep on rockin country. Rockabily my man. Nyt

  5. Many thanks. I’ll be happy to toss more of this stuff out there if you want it. Hell, it’s a blast for me. lol

  6. Hi there my good friend! It’s great to get inspired at this stage of the game! lol If I never play in public again…these little fun moments are enough for me. They will get me through the rest of my life. lol

  7. It’s always tons of fun to have a good jam now and then followed by a cigarette and a long nap. lol

  8. True. Everybody should try them. There isn’t anything better on the marked that I’ve found. Not only the tones, but the fact that there is no magnetic string drag to make your axe sound out of tune, nor to stop your strings from vibrating. Plus, being covered, the palm of your right hand will never push the strings against the pole pieces and give you that loud CLUNK. lol

  9. Was the emerald the Texas special? Sure has that hotrod louisiana blues tone

  10. Yeah, it has a wide range of tones for sure. I used the Emerald neck pickup for all of this video.

  11. Yeah, I forgot to shut those off. They are from the same homo that keeps making up new account names for every video that I put out. He’s got a severe MAN CRUSH on me. lol So, I have them shut off now.

  12. Thanks my friend. No advantage at all. It was simply the Keith Richards thing and nothing else. I have my top neck of my double neck Ibanez 6+6 string, tuned to open G also and it’s nice to have the extra string on the top. So, just a guitar with one less string and that’s it. Cool axe, feels different and is well made. So, no advantages to speak of. Just something to hand to someone when they come to you house to jam and see how long it takes them to figure out what they are playing. lol

  13. Thanks buddy! I was on the Emerald neck pickup only. It’s got a cool sound to it.

  14. Cool Scott….Dare to be different!!!!….Love the paint!!…

  15. That guitar sounds so good, nice playing aswell Scott

  16. What is the advantage of this over having a six string tuned to open G? Just curious
    In any case, sick playing!

  17. Just totally awesome Scott, great job!! I can tell you are enjoying that new geetar. Don’t see how anyone could not LIKE that, but I see there are two DISLIKES. Maybe those two crawled back into their cave never to be heard from again.. LOL
