BB King plays live guitar solo. This came from the extras on the DVD The Road to Memphis: www.pbs.org And the only other complete performance by BB on the extras is Key to the Highway, which doesnt have this incredibly searing guitar and is in fact pretty "lite". 1. YourVertigoso- learn to spell before you try bashing someone. Can’t compare they have their own styles. Just feel the music as it was truly meant to be

  4. Noo BB’s mixing of major and minor notes is unmatched…his choice of notes and vibrato is too good

  5. I agree, I think he is far too overrated. He makes a fantastic sound… I havent seen anything that i couldnt manage to cover, but maybe i havent watched enough. I think he has a great sound but I think santana could beet him at that game

  6. Let Them Say What They Will,The King Will Forever Shine On Through Time.

  7. love that song, but my favs re thrill is gone and a new way of driving.

  8. I watched your video, Eye of the Serpent’s Eye, and it sounds the same as most of the other generic metal guitarists on YouTube. If that was you playing, you had good technique, but there wasn’t any of this ‘fire’ that you seem to think it has. B.B., on the other hand, is immediately recognizable and distinct. His playing is consistently tasteful, soulful, and, most importantly, his shows are always entertaining. Listen to Live at the Regal for more proof.

  9. I think BB is REALLY overrated. I think some of the stuff I play DEFINITELY rivals his playing. i mean my playing has ‘fire’ to it. Come check out my video, thumbs up, and leave a comment.

  13. Killer solo! Wow, B.B. King got talent! I love when it gets around the 2:00 minute mark. I just found this documentary about where the Roots of the Blues came from. It’s a good educational movie taking place in Angola Prison. Very good movie, check it out bitly(.)com/HIDWPX
