  1. Thank you for your comments. From the technical side, getting a good mix is rather challenging using our simple equipment. We are both big fans of early rural Blues, and our intention is not to play note for note reproductions, but to explore and perform in an authentic style. Currently, we are working on a second CD of original songs. We definitely appreciate your interest. Enjoy.

  2. Absolutely masterful guitar playing…Couldn’t really tell what the harp was doing after the beginning though……The singer very sensibly doesn’t try to imitate B.W.J, and his outfit conveys a respect for the music that is very welcome. This could stand as as a performance in a Country theatre around the turn of the (last) century-very authentic, very well done.Very admirable…D.R. 3. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Everything is in a state of change. You are clinging to the past. I am also a big fan of early rural blues. Although, I am not a poor black African American who lived through the great depression under racist suppression. I do not claim that my renditions are direct reproductions. If this is a problem, I suggest getting an old 78RPM record player and listening to some old recordings. I personally like how it has all evolved. Enjoy.

  5. I am a 73 Y.O. white man that loves the blues. When I say the "BLUES" I mean traditional blues like the Delta and Chicago blues. Whitebread and/or the modern blues just don’t get it in my opinion. It is a lot like country music today, there is too much of the rock element creeping in and ruining the traditional sound of blues and country.
