Cruisin The Strip with some cool Blues Music. Driving the Las Vegas Strip in the wee hours is always a blast! The BEST! Traffic is light and you can get a nice clean run but still catch all the dazzling glitter and neon lights! Shot this video coming from the Wynn and Encore resorts, heading back to our home base of Paris Las Vegas. We pass the Pallazo, Treasure Island, The Mirage, Harrahs, Caesars Palace, Bellagio, Flamingo and Ballys en route. Most of the TOP Vegas Casino Hotels. I created some cool Old Skool Stratocaster Blues to groove to, and I kept in the traffic sounds, just to give you a better feel of what its like cruising The Strip at night! Music recorded using my cool Jeff Beck Stratocaster and Fender Hot Rod Telecaster. We love the whole Nevada desert and hope you have a great time when youre in Las Vegas! ~KK St. King

  4. I’m kicked back and a-groovin’ to your music, pretty awesome!

  5. Hahaha…you’re a good guy Rick! No worries tho bro..I’m happy who I am…and where I am. This is truly the best place for me…right here….on Youtube! Take care…and of course…please stop by ANY time you like! ~Kenny

  6. I’ll check out that channel next…thanks ~KK~ Rest well my friend! ~kk~

  7. We’re fortunate enough to have been to LAs Vegas many many times. We actually stay away from The Strip these days. Much more relaxing when you can get away…. especially for sleeping and relaxing in the warm desert sun!. We stay at a great place called the JW Marriott resort in a nice place called Summerlin…just outside of Las Vegas. I have a short video of the pool and grounds over at my "Desert King Travel" channel. It’s a great place to stay! Take care and thanks for all kk….~KK

  8. I agree…I’ve been there twice…the lights and sights are awesome. Have a good night and a great week ~KK~! ~kk~ =-)

  9. Thanks kathykay…… we always like to stop in at Las Vegas when we’re down in the Southwest. Driving the Strip late at night is always fun…seeing all the dazzle….never seems to get old. Have a great evening! ~KK

  10. Las Vegas has never sounded better…! Great music Kenneth…! ~kk~

  11. Yup…that;s exactly how I have it set. #3 with a hint of reverb and delay. That’s it! Have a great week and enjoy that Tele! ~KSKing

  12. Maybe I should have said the FX don’t interest me that much. I haven’t figured out all the amp models yet. I’m sure there will be some that I like. Haven’t had time to fiddle with it really. I find #3 with a little gain is nice, plus a little delay and reverb. I won’t get the tele till late next week. Sending it Pony Express I guess..

  13. Ya…of course…I love the "amp modelling" as I have never used pedals. The # 3 position I use reminds me of a "mini version" of my good old Marshall amps back in my live playing days. Boy…I’m sure glad you still can use it without the modelling. However, I DO recall when I first got it being impressed with the "clean" channel too! As you said…it’s got great tone! Hope it all works out well for you. If not…sell it for a profit!!! Let me know how it goes with the Telecaster. ~Kenneth

  14. Thank you. I won’t be doing any recording, but I can tell this is super versatile amp. The modelings don’t interest me much. I have a Roland Cub40XL that is awesome but very digital sounding. This amp gives me a nice tone, that’s all I want. My Blues jr. needs a pedal in front of it. it is just too clean. Thanks for the ideas and the help. I am sure I will enjoy the Tele. You gotta love a Tele.. :o)

  15. The Hot Rod Tele is a KILLER…and so is the Super Champ XD! I record on super low volume…almost inaudible using hi gain close miking techniques. So no…the clean channel would be way too loud for me to get a decent sound. I use the "gain" channel…and almost exclusively setting #3. As mentioned…I only adjust the "gain" up or down and "volume 2"…just past where it’s audible. Congrats on both of your selections! ~KSK

  16. I got the amp today, but.. I will have to wait till next week to plug in my new "on order" 52′ Hotrod Tele into it. Whoohoo! I couldn’t help myself. It’s your fault. The amp is perfect. I think it’s just what I was wanting. So you use the overdrive channel on #3 voiving with some gain? I can’t find what I want on just the clean channel alone. I have only played with it for five minutes just got it.

  17. Glad you caught me before I was turning in for the night here Kathy! That’s great…glad you guys both enjoy the vid! Ya…that part at 1:40 sounds almost Country-is…which I also like! Take care and have a great evening. Say hi to Rog for me! ~K

  18. Hahaha…nahh…. you’ll spend the first couple of days fiddling with it…then you’ll find ONE setting you like best…and that will be it! I never even change the thing now. Like most new amps…it has "voicings" or "amp modelling" selections. I just use voice # 3 pretty much all the time. I just add or subtract a little gain now and then! Have a great week. Let me know when you get it! ~KSK

  19. Good to know. I love Jeff. I am sure it will take years to find all the sounds i it. I have some time left. ;o)
