Congrats dude! That is a beautiful guitar.
personally i dont like pickups on a dobro ,it tends to move away from that dobro sound,if you want to amplify it mike it up it would sound much better,in my opinion if you want pickups by a electric guitar
This guitar was very nice in tone and quality, having the pickup made a big differance. If I had my choice again, I would stick with the wood, much lighter in weight. The steel ones seem to be a bit on the heavy side and have a more twangy metal sound. Take it easy. Pete
