Here is a classic live version of Foghats "Slow Ride" originally on 1975s Fool For the City album and on 1977s Live performed at Cobo Hall in Detroit in December of 1976 with a stellar slide intro by the late Rod Price (the Magician of the Slide). Written by the also sadly missed Lonesome Dave Peverett. All copyrights belong to Foghat, the estates of Lonesome Dave Peverett and Rod Price and WMG.

  1. If I could trade people to God, I’d like to exchange for Justin Bieber, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera, Demi Lovato, Jay Z and Beyonce for Keith Moon, Dave Peverett, John Entwistle, Rick Wright, Rod Price, John Bonham. I’d also like to trade Eminem for Jimi Hendrix, Rihanna for Dimebag Darrell.

  2. I ain’t no country boy, I’m just a homesick man…

  3. I miss Rod and Dave so much…they were the BEST ROCKING BAND in those days almost married Rod, DAM what was I thinking???? Miss you like HELL…REST IN PEACE MY LOVE

  4. The Night Shift Tour was Foghat at its peak. This was from the tour they had Rush and Montrose opening. The ending of this performance is how one should end a concert.

  5. The intro from the late Rod Price was what set the mood for this killer version of "Slow Ride". Also the final good night from the also sadly missed Dave Peverett rocked. I bet you they are rocking at the Pearly Gates with John Entwistle and Keith Moon in their band.
