bluesmasters.yoov.io This guitar Ive named Grace after my daughter Annabelles middle name. Im dedicating this performance to her – win or lose, Im always leaving this video up because I want her to know you should have the courage to pursue your dreams. I am very passionate about music and guitar playing, and I hope she finds something in life that she can be just as passionate about. Please watch the video at the link above and share! I would really appreciate your support in trying to make it to the next stage of Guitar Centers Blues Masters Competition for a chance to open for one of my favorite guitarists, Joe Bonamassa. Gear: Epiphone Elitist Casino, Fender 59 Bassman Reissue, Fulltone Plimsoul (overdrive) and Fulltone OCD (clean boost), Modtone Lemon Squeeze Compressor, Modtone Mini Delay, and a Vox Wah.
I recorded the raw video with an ipod touch, and then overdubbed the backing track and added the photo/caption using imovie. Syncing them wasnt too much fun though… but I made it through!
Did you use your computer to record it? Or did you use a mic?
Do you have software or anything that you used to overdub the track?
Thanks!
Thanks for the support everyone! If you would please watch and share from the link in the description, that will help me out greatly. There are alot of talented submissions, hoping I get the chance to jam with some of them out in LA!
Thank you! I recorded it with the amp loud and the jam track low (such that you really couldnt hear it in the original video) then I overdubbed the jam track back on in post so that I could play with the levels. Hope thats helpful!
Nice Job! Sound awesome.
How did you record it? Straight from your computer? How did you get such a nice mix of sound between the amp and the backing track?
Thank you – heres hoping!
Thank you!
