  1. Is it just me or does that Les Paul look skinnier than other ones? It could just be the burst messing with my eyes.

  2. Yeah. You don’t forget about it because it’s key in playing and playing right. But you use what you learn to play your own style. Basically exactly what your talking about except the forgetting part. I’ve been learning at my own pace and I have been told I have improved really fast in a short period of time by a friend whos been playing for years.

  3. I like the video. good job. I really don’t like that I keep finding pentatonic soloing. I don’t care if it’s easier. I want to learn what I can. Whether major or minor soloing. I’ve also got the time while I"m having trouble finding a job. OMG. Double stops are so good. I’ve been using those since I learned sharped dressed man. I just came across it and accidently did it and loved how it sounded.

  4. tks for another interesting and very informative lesson.

  5. Bugera amps sound great and are tube and affordable.

  6. Damn this LP is the most cool one I`ve ever seen Oo

  7. …im looking for a tube amp, and my budget is 400, possibly up to 450 or 500. i was leaning towards a blackheart little giant half stack but cant find any. any suggestions? and sorry this is in 2 text boxes lol accidentally clicked post to early

  8. Mr. David, thank you for all your lessons. they are really helpful! i have a gear question i was hoping you could help me with. money is a big problem with me, and i need a new amp terribley

  9. Well, really it depends on what kind of stuff you’re playing. Of course you could always try to use your first three fingers, but it’s more of an effort to do that than it is to just learn to use your pinky. 😛

  10. – Hi james – thanks man – really appreciate the kind words – means a lot my friend. Keep up all the hard work and keep on rocking on that guitar!
    YOU D MAN!

  11. David, Thanks for the New Lesson, and the link. I have expanded my abilities a lot from the Blues lessons I bought last year. Keep On Rockin’ ! James.

  12. as always-excellent stuff with a ton of material to ponder….Thanks Dave

  13. @kjh8839511 if your able to use your first 3 fingers and stretch them pretty good enough where you never really need the pinky then i think that its fine not to learn the pinky, imean after all, look at eric clapton, you should look up a video of him, and if you notice the way he plays, he never uses his pinky

  14. You do a great advantage I had the advantage of learning guitar through your website I like very much, David

  16. Hi – I suggest using the pinky – but you want to find what works best for you. Check out some of my other lessons here on YouTube as I have other lessons using the pinky as well as finger strength and dexterity exercises that really help to get that pinky strong – enjoy!
