He was a negro and didn’t have much going on in his life other than to play the blues, so he practiced day and night.
I would like to know if anyone else has went from annoying to a master in 8 or 9 months. Another thing I’d like to know is if Johnson had a stable enough life to just sit around and practice all the time, apparently he was a ramblin man and moved around all the time. Johnny Shines said "I never seen him practice" just a few things to consider. I don’t think anyone claimed that Dr. Phil approached him and he has appeared since, on the Oprah show.
So, the devil approached Robert Johnson personally? Yet, He’s never appeared since? Am i really supposed to believe that instead of approaching someone of power or influence, the devil approached a poor negro with next to no rights? Here’s a more likely scenario, he used the devil myth to elevate his fame to another level after practicing day in and day out for 8-9 months to become one of the most talented musicians of his time.

How can we explain how Robert Learned to play how he did in just months,chords and notes some people never even heard of back then.And it took over 20 years for music majors to even figure out how he tuned his guitar for most of his songs and how to even play his music.Ive been playing guitar for 20 years myself and even today i struggle with some of his music,though I learn by ear and not books and watching videos.

Ha I like how they say Ginger Baker formerly of "Claptons group Cream", well somebody should get their facts staright: First off it wasn’t Claptons group it was all three of them that made up the group, second if anybody has the right to say it was "their" group it would probably be Ginger himself as he was the one who suggested they form the band, first to Jack Bruce then Eric. Another point in this that gets forgotten is that most of the hits were written by Jack Bruce & Pete Brown!
