  1. Brian Jones pushed himself out of the Rolling Stones by becoming a drug addled incompetent that they let hang around way too long. Brian Jones had only himself to blame. You say Keith has average ability? He has the ability to write guitar riffs and songs that propelled The Rolling Stones to stardom that has kept them there for over 50 years. After Mick Taylor left, The Stones only got even more popular and started playing football stadiums. Mick And Keith are The Stones.

  2. Yea? And 50 years later Mick is still rocking the world!

  3. if Keef didn’t want Mick Taylor to be there, Mick Taylor wouldn’t be there!!!
if you don’t believe me, you can ask Charlie, Bill Wyman, Ronnie, and Jagger

  4. MT is great! But it was not not just his work on the stuff in the late 60’s and early 70’s. Jimi Miller was the perfect producer for the stones. When MT left he left too. I don’t think that it would change a lot in the music of the stones if he would join now.

  5. played one gig in 81 .. available on bootleg, down in the mix tho

  6. Wow … MT is that good! The others could hardly believe it. They were looking at him in not so hidden disbelief. I never knew MT could move and play at the same time. Did he ever do that back in ’69-73? He moved more this one night than in total over 4 years back then! Simply amazing.

  7. Jones wrote nice early stuff, Keith had 1 or 2 but respectfully the Stones only became bad mothers when Mick Taylor rode in & visciously tore Honky Tonk Woman to shreds, & sweetly let the air out of it’s soul when he left Waiting on a Friend. Keith, who admits to wearing his wife’s blouses (true), as any decent player knows is at best an averge hack & due respect to Borstal Ronnie, "clearly" no one ever got near close enuff to carry Taylor’s bags before, during or after his time with the Stones.

  8. Other than some laundry, Mick did hold the door open for the Beatles 25 yrs ago. What a drag it is getting old…

  9. Legends! Wonderful performance of this song. twitter.com/thelightinlife/status/287817305054908417

  10. Watts, Willy& esp Stuart ok, but way back( when I cared lol) i read of Keith’s existence not being too meager – took train to art college daily right…I stop caring after He pushed MT out like he did Brian Jones – he can’t get over his barely average abilty n even MJ has zero respect for him. Then he helped rewire Ronnie’s brains too. I think they kicked Taylor cash after he brought it up in Rolling Stone/09, then then denied it was a problem shortly after. A pr disaster for the Mossy Stones.

  11. This is a pretty good backing band Mick Taylor is playing with. Does anyone know who they are. Have they done anything in the last 25 years, or so, I might have missed?

  12. Pardon my ignorance. Is the first time Taylor has played with the Stones since the early seventies?

  13. They sound well – Keith & Ron with the Rhythm Guitar and Taylor with Solo Guitar.

  14. Cátedra de rock, simplemente majestuosos, no por algo son los reyes y amos de las multitudes. Mick Taylor le imprime un plus a esta gran canción, impresionante solo y excelente contribucón, suenan a los Stones de la época dorada de 1972 -1973.

  15. Darryl Jones and Charlie Watts are rock solid – in the pocket!

  16. keep getting your testosterone pills and doing this guys!!!
