  1. Besides how great the Stones are in this, the film itself is one of the best documentaries of all time in my opinion – really tells a story and you don’t get a sense the filmmakers were trying to slap some viewpoint all over it.

  2. Yea Atlanta and Isle Of Wight, Isle wasn’t violent but many arrest were made I herd, a lot of festival’s happened after Altamont but Altamont was one of the worst festivals in The U.S.

Maybe it killed the ideal but I don’t buy it, it’s the way the history is always written.There were a lot more festivals after Altamont, Atlanta Pop Festival in 1970 for instance, which was very big, and without violence. There were other festivals that aren’t documented in movies. But I agree, Altamont was horrible, the worst.
