  1. Mr Landreth’s secrets are slippin’ out! :):):)

  2. I had no idea this could be done. My entire world view is under review now.

  3. Awesome! gonna try to apply this to other tunings. Doode, you kill!

  4. I don’t use any pedals. It’s just guitar to amp.

  5. to make it sound like that what type of pedal do you need?

  6. This is a technique pioneered by Sonny Landreth- If you like it, check out his music. credit where its due

  7. HUH??? I thought I replyed to this but it’s gone??? Anywho, yeah I LOVE my Tele Deluxe… It’s not as twangy or bright a as a standard SC Tele, BUT, you can get ALOT more tonal range out of it and, for me, it can be plaenty bright… To me it’s like the best combo of three guiatrs, a Tele a Strat and a Les Paul… Get one, I gaurentee you’ll love it. The micro-tilt neck makes it possible to play slide on, but not quite as easy as the gibson bridge does.

  8. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE it… I still love a standard Tele, but for me and my playing style, the 72 Tele-Deluxe is THE guitar for me. It’s a VERY versitile rig. It can either blow the doors off a venue or play soft and creamy. Pick one up, I’ll bet you’ll fall in love too. It’s alike all the great things about an LP, a Tele and a Strat all in one guitar. not a crisp and twangy as a Standard Tele, but it’s got AMAZING sustain More so then my old LP IMO. Thanks again bro. Dave

  9. Does it matter what finger you put the slide on?

  10. Thanks man. I’m wanting to get a telecaster at some point. Really like the sound of the mini-humbucker in the tele. How do you like yours?

  11. Ya know I’m a pretty accomplished player, but MAN, I’ve learned quite a few tricks and fun things to fit into my chops from all your lessons… Thank you very much. Gotta love two Humbuckers/wideranges eh ; ) I play a 72 Telecaster deluxe…Very simillar tone sound to your SG (just waiting on a custom ebony FB’d neck)

    Cheers

    Dave

  12. so….the action is high enough so you can still play the E chord with the slide, push down the strings behind the slide so the string is pulled away from the slide letting it ring out? Seems like the action would have to be pretty high to not get any buzz on the slide.

  16. this dood blows, but kepp practison man you’ll get it— Eric Clapton–

  17. @christianfett i think he got vids on the amp

  18. Going down the guitar from the top barely makes sound it only makes sound near the bottom of the neck.

  19. the boneyard is great.. Maybe its too heavy for you? Or maybe your guitar isnt set up properly for it.. Whats the problem you are finding with that particular slide?

  20. I have that same SG but it sounds like that slide is better for it (I have a Joe Perry Boneyard Slide) What slide is that and should I exchange my other slide for that slide?

  21. I never knew you could chord behind the slide! That is pretty cool. Great sound as well. What type of amp? Thanks
