Shot on a quick tour of Ireland just weeks after "(I Cant Get No) Satisfaction" hit # 1 on the charts and became the international anthem for a generation, The Rolling Stones Charlie is my Darling – Ireland 1965 is an intimate, behind-the-scenes diary of life on the road with the young Stones. It features the first professionally filmed concert performances of the band and documents the early frenzy of their fans and the riots the bands appearances inspired. Charlie is my Darling is a rediscovered letter from a lost world. It has long been a holy grail of rock fans, surfacing in bits and pieces and tantalizing but frustratingly un-synched fragments. 1. What? they ahve it theatures. They are showing t on tv. But none of the special concert movies or documentaries come to our theatures( I live in michigan) We have an i max 3D Theature and everything! People in michigan can’t really appreciate rock and roll. all you hear is crappy rap music everywhere! At least i get to see this on tv tommarow!

  2. Go ahead deposit more dinero into their overflowing fat pockets.

  3. maybe you don’t know they have the biggest tour ever in music history. guess millions think they still matter!

  4. Im sick of people saying the rolling stones failed when Brian left, they really didn’t its like they have never heard of brown sugar, rocks of etc. And lets not forget there most successful album was sticky fingers (1970) and there notoriously well know album exile on main street (1971, i think) shut up people, the rolling stones have been amazing for 50 years and counting.

  5. The Stones threw Bryan Jones under the bus just like Floyd dumped Syd Barrett. The irony is that the director of this, Peter Whitehead, famously filmed early Floyd for his "Let’s Make Love in London."

  6. Probably. Doncha know the Stones are the kings of the rip-off. I refuse to drop another dime in their coffer.

  7. Brian was so pretty… such a shame that he had to leave so soon 🙁

  8. Is it worth buy the super deluxe set or is it just another Stones rip-off?

  9. I’m so happy I’m not the only one who noticed that!

  10. You can also buy the Limited Edition Prints from the movie and more at irishphotoarchive.ie!! We’re a small Dublin-based business that found 32 pictures of the Stones in our archive! Don’t want to drop the cash? Find us on facebook and enter a contest to win a print

  12. I saw the movie last night at the Walter Reade Theater in New York City. It’s amazing. Stones’ fans will not be disapointed.
