  1. How can anyone compare Frampton comes alive to this rock masterpiece. Frampton-elevator music, Ya ya’s defines live rock. Highlight, Midnight rambler, awesome, and the only song not touched up in the studio, a true live masterpiece. The 69 tour set the Stones apart from the rest. The beatles can’t touch the Stones live power, this album proves it. The greatest live album ever!

  2. I presume it is Keef who barfs all over Street Fighting Man; cause someone lets the side down late in the show. Tuning too.

  3. I hear ya randy. You are correct, there are many, many other great rock acts on the planet. In my opinion, and I’m positive I don’t stand alone,mr. frampton has nothing to do w/ ya yas. W/ due respect, frmptn comes alive did leave a huge mark on the live album scene. Unfortunately for peter, that was the only mark he ever left. Unless you’re a huge frampton fan, that album was his one and only fingerprint on the music world. But yes, ”comes alive” was a very big album back then! Peace, and enjoymusic

  4. I was just replying and showing some respect for Frampton. But you’re right (and I’m sure Frampton himself would agree) that the Rolling Stones stand alone as THE GREATEST ROCK AND ROLL BAND IN THE WORLD! That doesn’t mean that there are not a lot of other great bands out there, and Frampton is among them…

  5. This man incarnated Lucifer at Altamont in 1969 in Bobby Beausoleil’s hat.

  6. Yeah, THIS one is pretty tough to beat. And as jakethekinkster said: "…for my money the real highlights are the Stones’ take on Chuck Berry." You nailed it, jake. Many thanks to kritikospa14, for sharing.

  7. Though this entire album is excellent, for my money the real highlights are the Stones’ take on Chuck Berry.

These are still the best covers of Carol and Little Queenie out there. Listen to how Keith Richards lets the last note of several of the Carol riffs just hang around to keep your attention. The crunch on Little Queenie’s opening is fantastic.

And should I mention that the boys could really keep time?

    Great stuff.

  8. best version of sympathy f the devil… guitare bas batterie really together after 30 s . rock on

  9. Who in their right mind would even think to put frampton’s name on a rolling stones page? THE GREATEST ROCK-N-ROLL BAND IN THE WORLD, THE ROLLING STONES!!!! It’s no hangin on my door,it’s no capital crime.yeahhhhhh, you’re a stray, stray cat………..

  10. I was a Senior in high school when "Frampton Comes Alive" was released. It rocked my world and changed my life when it came to Rock and Roll. The first concert my parents allowed me to attend was Frampton and Fleetwood Mac in 1975…

  11. Sympathy. The best non-sequential dual solo in the history of rock.

  12. And one of the others would be "Frampton Comes Alive."

  13. I’m 55. I bought this album the day after I heard the first tunes from it. When I need to get fired up, THIS is what I listen to! The best pure rock album ever made!!!

  14. jedna z najlepszych płyt na "żywo" w historii Rocka

  15. One of THEE Greatest Rock and Roll Albums EVER. This one says it all…
