  1. You posted this almost 4 years ago, and it’s still a personal favorite for me. Have a great day, my friend.

  2. Thank you for taking the time to comment. The nice thing about any rendition you create is that you can continue to work on it over time. Before you know it, the song can completely morph into another version. Enjoy your practice.

  3. came to check out your version…great! You’re guitar is a bit more sophisticated than our strumming, lol!

  4. Thank you so much. What a wonderful time of praise you have given here! Such joy and artistry you unleash! Glory, glory!

  7. I am very indebted to this man for.my morning consecration. No jive this is mastery at its finest, and I know the blues by heart.

  8. Thank you for your comment and suggestion. I hope to voyage across the pond someday and visit the land of my ancestors. I have heard buskers in Europe are more warmly received than here in the sates. It would be a pleasure. Enjoy.

  9. Hey, I really enjoyed your performance Keni Lee. You should come and busk in England someday maybe.

  10. Thank you for your comment. This is a new National Resophonic Triolian guitar. It has a steel body. Visit their site to view their complete line. This guitar sells for about $1800. Enjoy.

  11. Thank you. Yes it is Vestapol tuning but I am not tuned to the key of D. I am a half step lower to C# to match my voice. Enjoy.

  12. Hi Keni Lee, I do a version of this in open D, inspired by Mississippi John Hurt. This sounds great, is this open D too?

  13. Love the hat Keni Lee,cool look,That reso just sounds better every time i hear it and it looks so right.Great work.

  14. Thank you. Onyx is a good boy. Actually, right now he is laying down on my lap as I try to type this. LOL I gave him a bath this morning, so as usual it is nap time. He truely has a dog’s life. Lucky son of a gun. Enjoy.

  15. Thank you for your comment. Playing on the streets of Alaska! Now, that sounds C-C-Cold…brrr!!!

  16. Thank you for your comment. Yes, performing on the street is good practice. Actually, my voice has become much stronger from singing over the noise of the subways. I did not notice this until I was on vacation last month playing on Commercial Street in Provincetown, MA Cape Cod. Playing acoustically and being able to generate enough volume is key to attracting an audience. Enjoy.

  17. yeah the only fellow alaskan of mine to make it big, Homer Ak representing

  18. I find that I learn the most when I play on the street- that’s how Jewel got better and made it
