  1. @chaneitor0325 look up Bukka White, Son House, Robert Johnson, Charlie Patton. Any of the real old delta bluesmen.

  2. fingerstyle guitar tabs @ fingstyle. com

  3. MMMMMMmmmmmmm sounds like Beatles & Zeppelin.

  4. ok hes not giving you a free lesson or anything…..plus he seems like a cool dude

  5. amazing lesson, could somebody tell me any music to listen that has this kind of guitar style?thanks!

  6. ONe cure for that.. practice. Gotta put in the time.. as Ringo Star once said, ya gotta pay your dues if you wanna sing the blues.

  7. the bad news: you cant expect to pick it up after 6 years and play like you did before
the good news: just start playing again (fun jamming
& metronome practice), and your standard will come back in a few weeks!

  9. I didn’t play for two days over the weekend bc I was busy, it took me an hour to feel comfortable today. Last summer I went on vacation and didn’t play for 10 days, it took me two weeks to get comfortable again when I got back. Six years is a long time, prolly just gonna have to put in the time to get back to where you were when you quit last time.

  10. i feel like if i showed up for a jam session with JPR we’d jam for about an hour and then I’d just let him talk about stuff for the rest of the day, he seems like he would have loads of great stories to tell.

  11. I clicked "like" within the first 3 seconds.

  12. If its any help. The same happened to me, I gave up playing for years and when I came back nothing was right, very frustrating. I realised my fingers needed strengthening and my timing was out, I practised for a couple of hours a day, studied guitar technique with sites like Next Level and after a year I came back stronger. David T is always supportive and helps with useful comments. It takes time commitment and patience but you will get there.

  13. Great lesson!….. Kenny222 you could put xtra light strings on your guitar and maybe learn some new styles. That might help you.

  14. it’s amazing how his taylor morphs into a tele. MAGIC!

  15. Thanks for the reply. That’s what I’ll do tomorrow evening after work! 🙂

  16. Thanks for the reply man. I’m gonna stick at it. It’s just mildly frustrating right now lol.

  17. Tebow Time!! And how’s that then? Everyone here has been helpful bar you.

  18. My favorite instructor on this channel! I favorite all of his videos! I learn something from each one.

  19. I was in the exact same situation as you a while ago. I stopped playing totally for about 5 years and started up again, everthing sounded like crap. Still had the knowledge in my head but couldn’t get it out on the guitar. The problem i was having was that i could remember what i could do but it didn’t match what i was doing when i started again. Just keep going start with simple songs again and you’ll get there
