  2. Fifty years later, and they’re STILL going.
Never fails to boggle my mind.
    *50 Tongues*

  3. This song sounds like it was written by the Beatles but regardless I love the Rolling Stones.

  4. Just sent an email to my son telling him I used to sing this stones first hit with
a group called the blue shades, changed to the shades of blue, near ruxley lane
West Ewell in the early sixties. my folks said I was too young to go with them to
Hamburg on tour, still get a chill when I hear that Hamonic start up, any of you
boys around give us ashout at mikestarr9@gmail.com

  5. I jostled for a position at the bar of the Savoy Ballroom in Southsea Portsmouth with a very polite Mick Jagger just after the Stones brought out Come On and were the support band to top of the bill Billy Fury, I wonder if he remembers me!!!

  6. Just my opinion, but have they ever bettered this, Im really not so sure !!

  7. See Brian could do fine harmonys on songs like this. But by 66′ Mick and Keith wouldn’t let Brian sing backing vocals n more.

  8. Now watch the ‘dancing’ parts again but this time without sound. What would an alien think if he watched this from afar? Exactly: "humans are such a weird species!"

  9. It seems like a lame song compared to their more impressive RnB rockers of the period, but I guess it was less well known as a song and kinda novel and cute. Maybe that is why it was chosen for their first single.

  10. 50 años de la buena música! vivan los Rolling Stones <3

  11. Correct on both counts. Glad to see that there are some people who know their Rock history. This is Chuck’s song and his version is the best. Chuck Berry simply doesn’t get reverence he deserves for how much he is responsible for establishing what Rock and Roll music is, and how much he influenced groups like the Stones. He really was Rock and Roll’s first genius.

  12. The best version is from THE NEW ADVENTURES out HOLLAND!!

  13. Nah, its a chuck berry cover. Good cover at that but for me it don’t touch the original. Have a listen, you may like

  14. This song was influenced by the Beatles "Please, Please Me"
