Oh, haha yeah Same here, especially when you’re a nick drake fan. the tunings that man used.. I probably buy strings every other day because of it. XD but I need to stop. this tuning here probably isn’t the best for the neck, but it sure has a lot of potential for some rather, beautiful riffs…
no worries lol. yeah octaved strings (say, down an octave) can sound really cool but im not certain how great they are for the tension across the neck :/ mind you that never really bothers me, i tend to give my guitars a pretty rough time
I don’t know… I did this and found it makes a nice chord for some really pretty "riffs" In my opinion at least. guess I should of deleted the comment long ago..

what if you tuned the "D" down to make it sound like a really low drop d?
