  1. Un peu brutal! ca manque un peu de finesse quand meme……….

  2. I’m sure Stevie knew about Martin Simpson. That said, and while acknowledging the fact that Stevie Ray Vaughn is unparalleled in terms of playing Texas blues guitar, your comparison only diminishes Martin Simpson’s music. I know and respect the comfort that arises from relating the new with the familiar, but to do is more limiting than what you may think. I encourage everyone to listen to this for what it is, and not how it compares to the familiar, and see where that takes you. Cheers,

  3. Looking forwards to seeing you at the Chesterfield folk Club in April 2012

  6. oh you met him? where was that? he’s such a little man, i was surprised, still got a lovely picture out of it. Folk power sister! Folk power! lol

  7. if ole bob was alive to day ,i think he would just sit there with an ivory tooth grin and say go man go,just think of how proud he would be to hear all the differnt takes, and twist on his songs, but the un disputed truth is that he is still with us,this video is proof.

  8. Singin’ isn’t so great, as playin’ guitar, but still so sick : D

  9. Oh, oh, oh, wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Leaves you catching your breath!

  10. He’s so much better solo than he is with his trio, his performances lose so much energy with the trio. it’s kinda sad.

  11. rumour has it that he sold his soul to the devil, twice….
