    I’ve seen Trucks play and he is great. Let me tell you something though, you play just as well as he does. Get yourself a tight band and write some songs. I have played slide for many years and tend to play it more like Jeff Beck style but I admire your style very much. My only advice is to keep developing your own thing so that people do not say you play like Derek. You can do it.

    Great Playing!! You’re really on to something, using the slide with fretted notes. Seeing this just cements me into continuing slide in standard.
