    I responded to a guy yesterday who basically said the same thing and I realized my error. I should’ve added the word CLEANLY in my comment. I suppose that Scott chose to use the slide just to added a little flavor to what he was playing. It’s just a different way to do it; there’s no right or wrong way.

    lol- you know how many pro guitarist idolize Hendrix? im sure you have heard of steve vai or yngwie malmsteen? perhaps kirk hammett or slash? or stevie ray Vaughn? how about joe satriani or Michael angelo batio? all these great guitarist list jimi Hendrix as their main inspiration- also check out Kenny wayne shepard who lists jimi as his main influence as well

I watched Geoff’s vids and they aren’t to bad- you have a very negative view on everything and honestly I’ve watched quite a few of your vids and you don’t allow comments on most probably because you are so wrong in most of your videos you get tired of being told how wrong you are- like your vid on pinch harmonics- you can get pinches with bridge pickups on the high e string

    I have learned more about guitar playing this evening watching your video’s than in the past 7yrs since I started playing. I’m 48 and have spent tens of thousands on amps and guitars. Right now I have a squire strat and a line 6 40 dollar amp and am really learning to play and hear for the first time. My goal is to have fun with my friends playing at small functions but quality is a priority for me. Thank you for telling the truth about guitar playing!
