Listen to it high. HOW HE SCREAMS IN THE END
….10-18-2012….2 unfortunate souls…weeeeee!!
You really think so JanesDivision? This is an amazing album, definitely one of my favorites of all time and for sure ONE of the Stone’s best. But for me, it just doesn’t quite match up to the Rock and Roll glory of Sticky Fingers or the rawness of Exile on Main Street. But this is a fantastic album none the less, and I love it to death!
A killer Stones album for sure…And for me, a bit of timeless perfection…
ok.
let it bleed is di john rebus’s favourite album(fictional Edinburgh detective created by Ian Rankin)
Yeah, like you’re the only one who reads on here. Get over yourself.
Thanks :)
ahah
Best Stones album for sure. One of the best albums ever for sure.
"Possum"? Do you mean "I can" in Latin?
I prefer the mono version, especially on "Gimme Shelter": it sounds much better. Thanks for sharing 🙂
I don’t think any is above "Sticky Fingers".
Gimme Shelter has to be one of the greatest album openers of all time. At least in my opinion. That riff is so intriguing and it instantly captivates you and get’s your attention. And once you start listening, you don’t want to stop. Great album!
Gimme possum. Possum in vain. Country possum. Live with possum. Let it possum. Midnight possum. You got the possum. Possum man. You can’t always get a possum.
man i really can’t decide if "let it bleed" or "some girls" is my favorite Stones album. both records are so perfect!
Love this album. Played it over and again when I moved to Perth (WA) – now when I hear it, brings back all those memories of looking out over the Indian Ocean and partying on a Sunday evening down in Fremantle…
Actually, I did.
no you didnt
AWESOME, AWESOME ALBUM 🙂 <3 This is How It’s Done 🙂 Listen and Learn Younglings 🙂 🙂 <3
The odds of someone getting that reference are slim, but I got it. I love Richard Bachman.
Every time i hear this album, Roadwork comes to my mind.
